Easter is meant to be a joyous time of year, but for children in our community experiencing emotional or financial hardships, the upcoming Easter holiday can be a challenging time. In an attempt to bring a little happiness this Easter, local Discovery Toys Educational Consultants are acquiring charitable donations to assemble Easter baskets for children of single moms who belong to the YWCA and Encompass’ Single Mothers Group.

The coordinators are asking individuals and businesses throughout the community to contribute $30 for each basket. Sponsors who donate over $100 will have their name/logo posted on our Facebook website banner and ads (tax receipts available upon request for donations over $100). Cash, cheques, gift cards, or merchandise that can be auctioned off are all gladly accepted.
