Langley Good Times Cruise-In Survey
The 2023 Langley Good Times Cruise-In took place on Saturday September 9, 2023, bringing hundreds of classic cars and thousands of visitors to our town. The survey below has been designed to provide the ABA with insights into the impacts the event had on business in our community. The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete. We will summarize survey responses and make them available to ABA contacts. TAKE SURVEY

A Letter From Our President:
Hello everyone,
I’m happy to announce that I am once again the President of the Aldergrove Business Association after an 18 month absence.
I’d like to thank the previous presidents and directors for the wonderful work they did, leaving the ABA in such a prominent place in Aldergrove. Hopefully we can continue to grow with, and contribute to, this beautiful community for years to come.
My goal as President of the ABA for the 2023/2024 year will be to try to get residents and businesses to keep as much of their money as possible within the local economy by building a greater sense of connection between our ABA members and the community. The stronger this community is, the more time and money people will spend here.
5 ABA opportunities to connect:
- March 23rd, 2024. Kids 4 Kindness kids will pair up with ABA member businesses to volunteer, showing kindness in the community. This will take place on March 23rd from 12-2pm to coincide with Spring Break.
- August 25th, 2024. Little Lemonade Legends 2-4pm at the Aldergrove Plaza, our goal is to partner each little legend with a business owner so they can obtain tips on running a successful lemonade stand. Prizes will be awarded to the best looking stand, best tasting lemonade, most outgoing legend, best marketing etc while promoting our ABA members at each lemonade stand as a sponsor.
- October 31st, 2024 Trick or Treat 2-4pm at local Aldergrove businesses, our goal is to keep children safe while connecting with our shoppers on a fun level.
- November 12th to 24th 12 days of shopping local challenge in Aldergrove. ABA members will sign up to shop local for 12 days straight by buying everything local from gas to groceries to gifts for the upcoming season. Each day we will feature our greatest finds while out in the community.
- December 14th, 2024. Pre parade celebration at the Aldergrove Plaza with music, pictures with Santa, cookie decorating and more. This is a collaborative event planned along with our partners in Aldergrove, including the Elks, the Aldergrove Community Association and the Aldergrove Fair.
Kindness is a pillar of the ABA and any chance we have on being kind whether it’s the banner program we implemented in 2020 where the Aldergrove elementary children designed banners on how they were being kind at home, in the community or at school or the ABA making soup at the Meals on Wheels to help feed our seniors or campaigns where we coordinate a crew to paint and clean buildings in disrepair. I am pushing for a YES campaign for 2023/2024 where we as ABA members say YES to any opportunities to lend a hand and help our neighbours.
New friends are welcome…CONSIDERING JOINING?
For those of you who are considering joining, the ABA welcomes all business owners, managers, and even employees who would like an opportunity to promote their business or charity as well as help out in the community. We look forward to meeting you and supporting the growth of your business.
I like to end by thanking Bruce Heslop with Diamond Bar for his years of dedication to the ABA as a founding member as he begins his retirement. Wishing you and your lovely wife all the best.
Kind regards,
Jodi Steeves
ABA President
