In celebration of Earth Day, the Aldergrove Business Association and the Township of Langley’s Adopt-a-Program invites local business owners and others to join the 6th Annual Clean Up Langley Day on Saturday, April 22 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

By participating in Cleanup Langley Day, you and your business can be part of a community-wide effort to keep our public spaces clean and remove harmful litter from our environment. A more beautiful environment also means a more welcoming shopping experience to your potential customers!

The ABA will be acting as the Downtown Aldergrove coordinator for the event, manning the welcome station at the parking lot of the old Stoelting’s Delicatessen at 27288 Fraser Highway (handing out supplies, outlining safety guidelines, and providing cleanup routes) and contributing volunteers to cleanup. The Township will provide safety and clean up supplies, as well as garbage pickup.

Betty Gilbert Bottle / Clothing Drive

In conjunction with Cleanup Langley Day, Betty Gilbert Middle School will be holding a Bottle / Clothing Drive on Saturday April 22 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Aldergrove Community Senior Secondary parking lot. All proceeds will go towards BGMS' Grade 8 Camp.

• please bring clothing, linens, purses, etc. in bags
• please bring small appliances etc. in boxes
• no large furniture, only items carried by one person will be accepted
