The ABA is looking for volunteers to help welcome visitors to tomorrow’s big Langley Good Times Cruise-In event (Saturday September 9, 2017)!
The Cruise-In is expected to see up to 50,000 people come to our town to check out hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, and specialty vehicles. The event will run rain or shine (though any poor weather will undoubtedly lower attendance somewhat).
The ABA has produced bright safety yellow t-shirts printed with “Aldergrove Ambassador”, and we’re inviting any ABA members or Aldergrove residents who will be attending / wandering the car show for 2 hours or longer to wear them with pride. The duties of an Aldergrove Ambassador are simple: be friendly, smile and try to answer questions, provide directions, etc. to people in town for the car show – if someone looks lost or comes up to you with a question, try to help them out as best you can, or direct them to either an ABA or Cruise-In information booth for further assistance.
To claim a t-shirt (first come, first served), you can drop by the ABA booth near the Aldergrove Community Police Office at 26970 Fraser Hwy. anytime after 9:00 am Saturday.
Visit the ABA website for a few frequently asked questions (FAQs) and answers for business owners / managers on how you can prepare for the Cruise-In.
