book n bean (27103 Fraser Hwy.) opened its doors in Aldergrove a year ago. This cozy used bookstore and coffeehouse has more than 8,000 gently used books for readers of all ages. Sink into a cozy chair with a latte and one of their famous cinnamon buns. Enjoy free Wi-Fi or simply escape with a good book. Bring your children in and ask for the special kids’ table. Trade your used books for in-store credit and use it towards your next book purchase.
Milsean Shoppe
With the warmer weather finally here, find yourself a spot on the patio of Milsean Shoppe (2900 272 St.). Try their decadent Demerara Butter Crunch, or for a seasonal treat, check out their homemade gelato. A family-operated business that has been in Aldergrove since 1992, their tasty treats are sold across Canada.
Annora at Encore
Annora at Encore Restaurant (27279 Fraser Hwy.) specializes in using local ingredients from Fraser Valley suppliers to create a unique fine dining experience. Their cozy, upscale 30 seat restaurant serves dinner Tuesday to Saturday starting at 4:30 pm. In addition to an a la carte menu, weekly features are inspired by fresh in-season ingredients.
