DESCRIPTION:The Aboriginal Business Match will be coming to the Langley Events Centre December 4-6\, 2017. Co-Hosted by Kwantlen First Nation and the Township of Langley\, the ABM connects a national network of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal decision makers to create opportunities for business\, training\, and employment. \nABM employs sophisticated business matching technology for communities and the private sector to create up to 31 pre-scheduled appointments before they attend the show. These appointments level the playing field and keep the conversation focused and efficient\, helping to determine next steps if a business match has been made or is possible. \nThe 2.5-day hyper-productive experience eliminates geographic barriers\, condenses time requirements\, and reduces costs. Sponsored by the Aldergrove Agricultural Fair & Festival Association\, the parade will run through downtown Aldergrove\, along Fraser Highway from Old Yale Road to 273rd Street.   \nThe parade will feature local merchants\, regional celebrities\, and of course the jolly man himself – Santa! This family-friendly event will be held at the Aldergrove Vineyard Church (former Elks Hall) / parking lot\, 27309 Fraser Highway\, at the end of the parade route. \nCome by after the parade and warm up with hot chocolate\, popcorn\, and hot dogs. Bring your kids’ letters to Santa to drop off in Canada Post’s Red Mailbox. Take in the sounds of the Christmas season with holiday entertainment! \nThe Afterparty is FREE to the community\, but we encourage you to bring non-perishable food items or a cash donation for the Aldergrove food bank. \nYou Could Light Aldergrove’s Official Town Christmas Tree & Win a Bike!\nThe Aldergrove Business Association\, Aldergrove RBC Royal Bank\, All Seasons Garden Center\, Cranky’s Bike Shop and the Aldergrove Star are sponsoring a Christmas colouring contest\, and you could light Aldergrove’s Official Town Christmas Tree! \nThe Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place following the Christmas Light Up Parade on December 9 (approximately 7:15 pm). \nThe winner will also take home a bike from Cranky’s Bike Shop.
