DESCRIPTION:The ABA is excited to announce our next event – Kids 4 Kindness Day.  At this event\, kids will pair up with ABA member businesses to volunteer\, showing kindness in the community.  This will take place on March 23rd from 12-2pm to coincide with Spring Break.  Several sponsors have already stepped up to donate cash and gift cards\, and we will use these as prizes for the kids.  We will randomly draw the prizes\, and we encourage the kids to donate half of their prizes to a person or cause of their choice.  Each kid will also receive a goodie bag.  If you are interested in participating as a business\, or if you know a kid who would like to participate\, please email kids4kindnessaldergrove@gmail.com to sign up. \nWe are also looking for volunteers to help promote this event.  We need people to hand out stickers at Aldergrove businesses.  If you are able to volunteer a couple hours of your time (at any time)\, please let me know. \nOr\, if you are interested in sponsoring this event by donating some cash\, gift cards or other prizes\, please let us know as well.  We will promote all sponsors at the event. \n  \nThank you everyone for your support in our events.  Together\, we will help make Aldergrove a great place to live and do business.

DESCRIPTION:The Langley Good Times Cruise-In is coming to Aldergrove Sept. 7\, 2024.  The Cruise-In is Western Canada’s best attended charity event.  This is a must-see event\, with thousands of specialty vehicles lining the streets of Aldergrove. This is an all-volunteer run event\, and over $100\,000 was raised for local charities in 2023.  The event takes place between 264th and 272nd Streets in downtown Aldergrove.  Admission is FREE for spectators. \nWe are seeking volunteers to help out before the Langley Good Times Cruise In.  We need help cleaning up the streets the week before the Cruise In (Sept. 4-6) and we need help delivering flyers to the businesses next week (August 27-28).  If anyone is available to help out\, please reply to this email or call Jodi at 604.833.5634.   \nABA members are also invited to set up a vendor table for FREE at the Cruise In this year.  There is a 10 x 10 spot in the Marketplace and it is available from 8am to 4pm on Saturday\, Sept. 7th.  If you would like to promote your company and/or sell your merchandise\, please let me know and I will send you a sign up sheet with time slots available to you. \nIf your business is located along the main strip of Fraser Hwy where the event is taking place\, you are invited to set up a table in front of your business and promote your company and/or sell merchandise there.   \nWhat a great opportunity to promote your business to the approximately 80\,000 spectators that will be walking through Aldergrove that day.  \nCruise-In map: Cruise-in map 2024
